Mario and his friends visit the Flower Kingdom, ruled by Prince Florian, but Bowser disrupts the peace by seizing the Wonder Flower and merging with it to create a flying fortress. This forces Mario, Prince Florian, Yoshis, and Nabbit to unite and embark on a quest to defeat Bowser and rescue the trapped Poplins in their homes.
