Despicable Me 4: A New Chapter of Minion Mayhem

Things are about to get even more despicable with the arrival of ‘Despicable Me 4,’ hitting theatres on July 3. After a seven-year hiatus, Gru, the world’s beloved former supervillain and now Anti-Villain League agent, returns with his family for another round of Minions mayhem in this Illumination production.

Following the success of ‘Minions: The Rise of Gru,’ which grossed nearly $1 billion worldwide, the franchise introduces Gru Jr., a new addition to the Gru family, stirring up more chaos. Gru (Steve Carrell) and his family, including Lucy (Kristen Wiig) and their daughters, find themselves up against a new villain, Maxime Le Mal (Will Ferrell) and his dangerous girlfriend Valentina (Sofia Vergara).

Featuring new voices like Joey King, Stephen Colbert, and Chloe Fineman, and the return of Pierre Coffin as the Minions and Steve Coogan as Silas Ramsbottom, ‘Despicable Me 4’ is packed with action and Illumination’s trademark humor. Directed by Chris Renaud and co-directed by Patrick Delage, with a screenplay by Mike White and Ken Daurio, this film promises to be a thrilling addition to the beloved animated series.
