It is the third main game in the Dark Alliance series, itself based on the Dungeons & Dragons tabletop role-playing system, and is a spiritual successor to Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance and Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance II. The game was originally slated for release on PC and consoles in 2020, but this was later changed to 2021
