One Punch Man Season 2

So we just got a new trailer for Season 2 of the One Punch Man anime. This is the first trailer we’ve seen so far to contain actual scenes from the upcoming season. Season 2 has been confirmed for release on April 9, 2019. You can watch the trailer below:

Unlike Season 1 which was animated by Madhouse, the new season will be animated by J.C.Staff. If you were a fan of the first season, no doubt you’re probably pretty stoked about Season 2.

But this time around, it looks like things aren’t all good. Compared to the stellar, mind-blowing animations and art of Season 1, Season 2 seems to be sorely lacking. In fact, fans are just calling it flat-out bad out of anger and disappointment.

While I’m happy that Season 2 is finally on the way, I can’t help but share in fans’ disappointment about the trailer. A big part of what One Punch Man Season 1 so amazing was the phenomenal animations and art.

Now, I’m sure that Season 2 will still be super enjoyable and fun to watch but I wouldn’t place my expectations at the same level as Season 1 if I were you.
