Persona 5 The Royal
Atlus has finally announced that Persona 5 will be getting an expanded version of the game featuring brand new updated content. Persona 5 The Royal has been confirmed for release on PlayStation 4 on Oct. 31, 2019 in Japan and sometime in 2020 for North America and other regions. If you haven’t seen the initial announcement teaser trailer from March yet, here it is:
The new features that will be introduced to Persona 5 The Royal include a brand new Phantom Thief by the name of Kasumi Yoshizawa, a new confidant, a new area to explore, Kichijoji, the third semester of Shujin Academy, and much, much more.
Kasumi enters the story as a transfer student to Shujin Academy. She’s also an experienced gymnast who wields a rifle and a sword as her weapons. Get your first look at the new Phantom Thief in the official trailer below:
