Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order

The Star Wars game we’ve all been waiting for is finally here and it’s making waves with its new reveal trailer that’s got fans clamoring for more. Brought to you by Respawn Entertainment, the developers of Titanfall 2 and Apex Legends, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order has high expectations from the community and rightfully so.

Now it just comes down to EA to not screw up this opportunity to bounce back from some very harsh criticism they’ve been getting as of late. After seeing the trailer for myself, I have to say it looks very promising so I’m willing to give them the benefit of the doubt for now. But don’t take my word for it, take a look for yourself:

Now, I will say this: it certainly seems like Respawn’s founder, Vince Zampella, has heard the community’s outcry against EA’s approach to recent Star Wars games. In an attempt to win over the community, Zampella said this at Star Wars Celebration 2019: “This is a Jedi fantasy, story-driven game. We are known for multiplayer shooters, but that’s not just who we are. This is a story game – no multiplayer, no microtransactions; this is about being a Jedi.” Hearing that was a breath of fresh air, to say the least.

The story of Fallen Order revolves around Jedi Padawan Cal Kestis, one of the last surviving members of the Jedi Order following Order 66. Now, it’s up to you to hone your skills and use the Force to accomplish your plan of rebuilding the Jedi Order.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order has been confirmed for release on November 15, 2019. You can pre-order your copy of the game here.
